It is not just about speed, Lycra, Adrenalin or expensive equipment, although sometimes that is involved, it is about getting out and enjoying your surroundings. The Outdoor Group has been created to connect people who share a love/passion for the outdoors. The aim is to cover a wide range of activities from kayaking, bushwalking, jet skiing, mountain biking, surfing safaris, boating, camping (backpacking and car based trips), to sporting activities such as tennis, road cycling etc. We aim to cover the Gold Coast to Ballina and the surrounding hinterland. I wanted to find a place where those who's lives have been affected by ME/CFS or FM or any other Chronic pain sufferer can come to get support and share their experiences particularly with those who live in the same world. Nothing overly formal, more looking to give and receive friendly support. Slow-Mo Sunday, Stay Fit Bike Ride 7-30am Meet-Up @ Southport, Main Beach Surf Club Easy one and a half hour ride (with stops). Ride from the surf club to the end of sea wall. Off road bush riding 40min, alternative route along road). Sea-wall to broad-water side beach (on road 15min). Half hour stretch and relax. Bring your own thermos, or breckie and a towel to sit on.
