We are an English speaking, Basel/Alsace oriented mountain bike community (Badgers) typically riding single-track & XC forest trails with 3-800m ascents (overall), incorporating (optional) technical sections where possible. We typically ride for 2-4hrs starting within 10Km of Basel every weekend & some mid-week evenings but take frequent trips out of town to the mountain bike parks and trails when we can. This is a group made for casual cyclists, males and females, who want to ride their bikes with other fellow riders. This group covers all levels of fitness. Experienced riders help the novices. These are social rides, which means it's about enjoying to ride your bicycle and combine this with visits to restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Ok everyone! The idea is that we have a group of people in Baden who want to catch up a couple of times a week and have a game of football/soccer or maybe basketball, or whatever we want to do! I'm keen on the idea of going mountain biking also! I'm new in Switzerland so anyone wanting to join is more than welcome :) The main point of this group is just to have a bit of fun!
