There seems to be cycling meetup's everywhere in the I.E. except in Corona. I thought there might be a chance people around here would be interested in finding a more local group. This group is open to all riders, both road and mountain. It's all about meeting new people and having a good time, whether it's on the road or on a mountain. If you live in and around south Corona and are looking for people to ride with, then this is the place!

Welcome! This new Meetup Group is simply to encourage fellow riders to gather for casual rides on the SART (Santa Ana River Trail), starting in Yorba Linda (North Orange County), heading southward toward the ocean, then riding north on the SART, back home. Many of us will be riding road bikes, but ALL types of bicycles and bicyclists are welcome. (Before buying my road bike I rode up and down SART dozens of times and hundreds of miles on my full-suspension mountain bike...you should have see …

This group is for everyone who loves to ride! If you have a ride planned and would like anyone (anyone!) to join you, post it! Solo training can be great, but nothing beats riding with a group. Get a whole peloton together or just meet some new friends to take turns pulling with. Anyone can post a ride. Please include where you plan to start, how far you plan to go, what intensity/ speed you'd like to ride, and anything else you think would be appropriate. Nobody is 'in charge' of this group... …
Team CycleFit (TCF) is a bicycle group aimed at the "non-lycra" set. It's for beginner cyclists, those who find most bicycle clubs intimidating. We welcome all kinds of bicycles on our rides, wearing whatever kind of cycling clothing you want. The only thing we strongly recommend is that you were a helmet!!! The purpose of this group is to provide a social support group for cyclists, especially if they don't know how to fix a flat or do minor bike repairs--we can provide that for you! Any …
We are organizing a group of folks who would like to ride for an hour or two on Wednesday nights to get some exercise, feel the wind in our hair, and meet some nice folks who share the love of cycling. If that sounds like you, sign up and let's go do it.

There are quite a few 'peak lists' in California and we like to climb them. Some are easy and good trails lead to the top. Others are long, difficult cross-country routes and may require some roped sections. Please evaluate the proposed hike/climb to be within your capabilities. As many/most of these hikes will be new to all attending, everyone should have studied the route, copied topo maps, have your GPS loaded with waypoints, and be prepared to 'help' with route finding on the difficult one …
