This group is meant to serve as an informal support network for all those currently training for an ironman triathlon or other Iron-distance event. Training for an Ironman (or most any endurance event) is a deeply personal and solitary endeavor. Most of us train on our own schedule, and free time is a luxury that not many of us have. Because of this, this group will not host too many formal meetups, but will serve as a community where individuals can share advice, experiences, and help one anoth …

We have two purposes: to network with and support like-minded businesses and to work towards a more bicycle-friendly atmosphere in the communities in which we work. We envision getting involved with our local city governments to bring to their attention ways to improve riding for our employees and customers. We hope to have some fun riding events along the way!

Ride 2010 with a BANG! - with 100-500 other crazy people. How much fun is that? We'll explore the trails in: http://www.bikewashington.org/ We will also take trips on the road; don't worry, we won't compete with traffic, but there are great road rides in the city that are safe from cars. Depending on the expertise and resilience of our riders we'll do either short (10 miles) or longer (20+ miles); if the group on any given day is large enough I will have two routes to accommodate the long and …
